Governance
Governance & Regulatory Compliance
This theme focuses on ensuring transparency, reliability and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. We aim to strengthen our governance by maintaining and further developing relevant certifications.
We also work to increase transparency throughout the value chain, including by developing product passports and encouraging suppliers to adopt them. Together, these activities contribute to ethical, accountable and future-ready business operations.
ESG Governance & Stakeholder Engagement

AVEX positions ESG firmly as a strategic priority, with a leading ambition focused on increasing both ESG engagement and ESG impact. Our direction of development reflects a clear shift from a risk- and opportunity-driven approach towards an explicitly impact-driven approach, using ESG to create measurable positive social and environmental impact.
This ambition is embedded in our strategy, policies and decision-making processes, resulting in increasing engagement among both internal and external stakeholders. Due diligence is an essential part of this approach, with particular attention to our value chain and collaboration with partners and suppliers. This not only strengthens engagement throughout the value chain but also increases our tangible ESG impact.
An ESG Programme Manager has also been appointed to further embed the ESG strategy at tactical and operational levels. This role ensures that strategic ESG objectives are translated into concrete initiatives, processes and KPIs across the organisation, while strengthening implementation and internal coordination of ESG activities.
Our governance structure supports this approach. ESG forms part of an established reporting and continuous improvement cycle, incorporating ESG reporting, EcoVadis, SBTi, the UN Global Compact, our Climate Transition Plan and ISO audits. This cycle supports transparency and continuous improvement and helps us progress towards high levels of ESG engagement and impact, in line with our ambition to operate through an impact-driven approach.
During the reporting period, no incidents of non-compliance relating to marketing communications, including advertising, promotion or sponsorship, were identified.

About This Report
Purpose and Scope of the Report
At AVEX, we consciously integrate environmental, social and governance considerations into our day-to-day operations. We make decisions that create value for our employees, customers, partners and society, both today and over the long term.
As an audiovisual integrator, we operate in a rapidly changing environment in which technology, collaboration and sustainability increasingly overlap and reinforce one another. This report covers our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance for the period from January 2025 to December 2025.
Materiality Assessment
AVEX has conducted a materiality assessment to determine which ESG topics have the greatest impact on both the organisation and its stakeholders. This involved identifying the most significant economic, environmental and social impacts within our own operations and throughout the value chain.
The assessment is based on internal data, strategic priorities and input from stakeholder dialogue with employees, customers, suppliers and value chain partners. The identified topics were assessed based on their impact on people and the environment and their relevance to AVEX’s continuity and strategy.
Material ESG Topics
Based on this assessment, the following five ESG topics have been identified as material. These topics have the greatest impact on people, the environment and society and are important to AVEX’s long-term value creation.
The material topics form the structure of this ESG report:
- Theme 1: Climate & Energy
- Theme 2: Circular Economy & Waste
- Theme 3: Social Impact & Safety
- Theme 4: Value Chain & Customer Impact
- Theme 5: Governance & Regulatory Compliance
Management of Material ESG Topics
AVEX manages its material ESG topics through a structured approach, with policies, objectives, measures and monitoring established for each theme. Responsibilities for each material topic are assigned within the organisation, and ambitions are translated into concrete objectives and actions.
Progress is monitored through periodic internal reporting, KPI management, audits and certifications, including ISO certifications, EcoVadis assessments and SBTi monitoring where applicable.
Each section of this report explains how AVEX identifies, manages and, where possible, improves the relevant impacts, including the associated objectives, measures and results. In this way, AVEX systematically manages its most significant economic, environmental and social impacts in line with its strategy and long-term ambitions.
Stakeholder Engagement
As a systems integrator, AVEX plays an important role within the value chain. In addition to improving our own operations, we prioritise influencing the wider value chain to create positive impact. Ambitions and objectives have been established for each theme to continuously improve our ESG performance.
When determining our ESG priorities, AVEX actively engages its key stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers and value chain partners. Stakeholder engagement takes place through ongoing collaboration on projects, customer and supplier dialogue, internal consultation and international networks such as GPA.
Insights gained from these interactions are used in our materiality assessment and help inform and refine our ESG themes, objectives and improvement measures.
Reporting Standards & Independent Assurance
This report has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). This helps ensure that our reporting is transparent, structured and comparable and reflects current sustainability reporting requirements and standards.
This sustainability report has not been externally assured. However, certain underlying processes and data are subject to external audits and certifications, including ISO certifications and EcoVadis assessments.

Code of Conduct
AVEX is committed to responsible, ethical and sustainable business practices through established policy frameworks that guide our actions and decision-making. These include the AVIXA Code of Ethics & Conduct, guidelines on integrity and safety, and principles for sustainable and responsible procurement throughout the value chain. AVEX is also a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact and is therefore committed to its ten principles covering human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.
These policy commitments are embedded throughout the organisation and provide a foundation for our relationships with employees, customers and suppliers. Their application is integrated into relevant business processes, including procurement, project delivery and collaboration with value chain partners. Compliance with these frameworks and their continued implementation are monitored through internal communication, periodic audits and certifications.
ESG Governance
AVEX is a family-owned business with a management board model as its governance structure. Day-to-day management is the responsibility of the management board, supported by a management team. Together, they are responsible for strategic direction, decision-making and oversight of the organisation.
Governance and decision-making are centrally organised and focused on continuity, risk management and long-term value creation. The management board oversees the identification and management of key economic, environmental and social impacts and periodically reviews progress against ESG objectives, risks and improvement measures.
Employees and external parties can seek advice or raise concerns about ethical, responsible or appropriate conduct with their manager, HR or the management board. AVEX promotes an open and safe culture in which questions and concerns can be raised. Reports are handled carefully and without adverse consequences for the person raising them.
Where AVEX determines that it has caused or contributed to a negative economic, environmental or social impact, corrective action is taken to address the impact and prevent recurrence.
Depending on the nature of the impact, this may include adjusting processes, engaging with the parties involved, implementing improvement measures or reviewing business relationships. Remedial measures form part of our existing governance, risk and ESG processes and are monitored and followed up where relevant.
The Managing Director holds ultimate responsibility for ESG and reviews the sustainability report. The ESG Programme Manager is responsible for day-to-day coordination and implementation, while ESG ambassadors and designated objective owners monitor and report on progress.
Certifications, internal controls and audits support performance monitoring and help translate our sustainability ambitions into concrete, measurable actions.
During the reporting period, no significant breaches or sanctions relating to environmental, social or economic laws and regulations were identified.
