The main difference compared with a traditional Digital Signage display is how the image is presented. A static image remains visible without the display continuously requiring power to maintain that image. This makes E-Paper particularly interesting for communications that would normally be displayed on paper or other printed materials.

E-Paper or a traditional Digital Signage display?

Samsung Color E-Paper does not replace every Digital Signage display. Moving content, video, animations and applications where high brightness or continuous interaction are important require a different display technology.
