Discover what usually remains hidden

At Heineken’s office in Amsterdam, we’ll look beyond the iconic brand. You’ll discover how innovation, workplace strategy and technology support a global organisation.

The following morning, we’ll continue the journey at AVEX in Breukelen. We’ll show you what happens behind the scenes to design, deliver, manage and support audiovisual experiences.

Because the most valuable insights are often found Below the Surface.

What to expect

From inspiration to the water

We’ll start in Amsterdam with presentations, conversations and an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Heineken. In the evening, we’ll see the city from the water during a private canal cruise.

The following morning, we’ll take you behind the scenes at AVEX in Breukelen. From there, we’ll travel to Muiden, where we’ll join the other guests for the AVEX Regatta.

Monday Programme

Inspiration in Amsterdam

An afternoon and evening of fresh insights, inspiring conversations and a behind-the-scenes look at Heineken.

13.00* – Arrival in Amsterdam

Arrival in Amsterdam and departure for Heineken’s international headquarters.

14.00 – Welcome & the history of AVEX

We’ll kick off the programme together and take you through the story of AVEX.

14.30 – Keynote

An inspiring keynote by Brigitte Verdegaal (Microsoft) about the AI powered workplace.

15.30 – Round Table Discussion

Together, we’ll explore the theme in more depth and exchange experiences, ideas and perspectives.

16.30 – Heineken Office Tour

An exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Heineken’s international headquarters.

17.00 – Heineken Experience

We’ll continue our visit at the Heineken Experience.

19.00 – Amsterdam Canal Cruise & Pizza Dinner

We’ll board a private boat for a cruise through Amsterdam’s canals, enjoying a pizza dinner together along the way.

21.00 – Transfer to Hotel Breukelen

After the canal cruise, we’ll travel together to Hotel Breukelen.

*Arriving later is of course possible.

Overnight stay

A relaxing end to day one

Due to the travel distance, we offer our guests from Belgium and the United Kingdom an overnight stay at Hotel Breukelen on Monday evening.

This means we can start the second part of the programme refreshed the following morning.

Tuesday programme

Behind the scenes at AVEX

The second day begins at AVEX headquarters in Breukelen.

During a tour, we’ll show you what normally happens behind the scenes when designing, delivering and supporting audiovisual solutions.

11.00 – Departure for Muiden

After the morning programme, we’ll travel together to Muiden for the second part of the day.

AVEX Regatta

Time to hit the water

In Muiden, we’ll join the other guests for the AVEX Regatta.

After the official opening, we’ll board traditional Lemsteraak sailing barges and enjoy lunch together as we set sail. Then it’s time for the race. With an experienced skipper guiding you, you and your team will compete for victory on the IJsselmeer.

No sailing experience is required. A little competitive spirit is, of course, more than welcome.
