AVEX wins Absen award 2025

A beautiful Absen award is proudly on display in our office! During the Absen Partner event, our team was proud to receive the Absen Benchmark Case Award 2025 in the ‘Corporate Project’ category.

This international recognition underlines our expertise in designing and delivering innovative LED solutions for complex and business-critical environments.

Award-winning project for ABS

The award was presented for an international project that AVEX delivered for ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), a leading organisation in maritime and offshore classification.

For this global customer, we designed and delivered multiple state-of-the-art immersive training centres, where trainees can experience and practise realistic real-life scenarios.

The aim of these training environments is to optimally prepare crews for working with new technologies, while also improving maritime safety and operational efficiency.

Immersive training with LED technology

At the heart of the training centres are impressive L-shaped Absen LED walls that create a lifelike and immersive learning environment.

Thanks to this technology, complex real-life scenarios can be realistically simulated, making training more effective and interactive.

In addition, the focus was on delivering a consistent user experience across all locations.

The training centres were delivered in:

• Doha
• Athens
• Singapore

This means users worldwide have access to the same high-quality training environment.

International collaboration

The project was delivered in close collaboration with our regional GPA Business Units.

By combining local expertise with central project coordination, the different locations could be delivered within a tight schedule, without compromising on quality or user experience.

This international collaboration was an important success factor within the project.
